There it is, the OS 2006 for the Nokia 770 Internet Tablet passed it's beta status and the new firmware is now available for download !

Somewhat after midnight - thanks to the excellent wheather optimal for drinking beer with some friends - I have upgraded my Nokia 770 with the OS 2006.

The feeling after one day is good, very good ! The new applications of Google Talk, both VoIP and IM are working fine, the receiving voice quality, using a Sennheiser PX200 headset is great; the sending voice quality is a little less due to the fact that the build-in microphone is capturing also surrounding noise, but nevertheless, the conversations are going smoothly.
