Nokia Internet Tablet - 770 (Part 12)
Nokia is committed to continuous development and keeping the 770 community informed about new maintenance releases.
The previous software update took place around 30th June (see Nokia 770 Part 8). That update was a 'major' one, containing new features, a new look, ... the current update is a typical 'maintanance' release, meaning mainly fixing bugs, improving software stability and existing functionality.
The update includes improvements in Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connections,
Internet calling audio quality and browser functionality, among other
things.
Girls and boys at Nokia, you did an excellent job ! Again ! Ofcourse, we are still waiting for, ... an upgrade of the flashplayer, and finally Java.

Hi Jan,Updated my Nokia also. This releases is much more stable than the previous one and my screen idle mode works fine now. A must upgrade for additional stability and new features.
I tried the Bluetooth feature together with my mobile, works perfect.
One thing I don't like... It's not possible to enter root mode. Strange decision from the Nokia people since the start.. But I guess they're afraid people will break the 770.
