Lottery scams
A few days ago I was hit by a lottery scam. Let's say I have won 'Seven Million US Dollars' !
For people who don't know lottery scams, ... if you receive an email from a lottery you did not enter, it is a scam. In most cases the email accounts in the email are free email accounts and the phone number is a mobile phone, if there is one available. Never, so never, send any contact information or money to the criminals behind these scams. If you do, they will just invent a new fee you have to pay, and if you pay that, they invent a new fee, etc etc until you give up or run out of money.
The scammers are professional criminals, which are very convincing, which have a lot of experience to get slice by slice, mail by mail, more and more information from their victims, like personal names, address, bank account information, etc.
To get your 'huge' price, you have first to pay, ... still many people believe such kind of 'dreams', isn't it.
On the next page (#2), you will see an typical example of such a scam email.
