This year Google will launch 'Google Waves', a new real-time tool for communication and collaboration on the web.

It combines aspects of email, instant messaging, wikis, web chat, social networking, and project management to build one elegant, in-browser communication client. You can bring a group of friends or business partners together to discuss how your day has been or share files.

I am curious to see how fast people will start using this new way of communication, will it affect social networks like Facebook. Still don't know, but for sure, future will tell us.
