AFAIK, N810 has no build in FM chipset, so you can not use your FM-Radio, right?

Hi,

Indeed, the N810 hasn't an FM chipset. By the way, the old N800 has it on board.

Cheers, Jan

While I appreciate the idea of an auto-update feature, the N810 doesn't have enough RAM to support it with the way I use the device. In particular, I want to open 10-15 web pages for reading during my train commute where I don't have good signal. With this many web pages open, the RAM demand for this automatic check is too heavy. I'm happy to switch over to a manual process, but I've not yet found the key to disabling the automatic process...

i would assume that the modus offline is the key you are looking for.
