For a lot of people in Belgium - the country where I am living most of the time - tomorrow will be the last working / school day. From the 1st of July onwards, the official holiday period begins.

One of the things that could be done during such a holiday period, is spending some time with a novel, ... I can recommend Dan Brown's books, 'Angels & Demons' (Het Bernini Mysterie in Dutch) and 'The Da Vinci Code' (De Da Vinci Code in Dutch). The novels both contain depictions of aspects of Christianity and the history of Catholic Church, but are both mystery novels and thrillers. Due to the controversy among critics, who have the impression that much of what he has written is inaccurate, I can recommend an additional book, 'Cracking the Da Vinci Code' (De geheimen van de Da Vinci Code in Dutch), which explains in more depth facts and figures.
